Live Make Share
Artist /Organiser
In October 2023 I was an artist in residence at Live.Make.Share in Hien Van, Vietnam. During the residency, we held a gathering day, where folks were invited to not only learn about our projects but also contribute and engage with artist methods including cyanotypes and plant-based paints. We began the day with a guided performance art piece, followed by artist-led walks and conversations and an afternoon of art making.

Happenstance
Co-founder and co-director
Happenstance was a community arts festival that was first held on the Merri Creek in Melbourne in 2017, and again in 2018. Co-founded and directed by myself, Will Dawson & Adelaide Fisher, the festival was generously supported by the Friends of Merri Creek and Moreland City Council.
During the event, the public were invited to take an unexpected journey along a well-trodden path, and discover a trail of music, art, and performance celebrating the Merri Creek. Happenstance encouraged participants to engage with the beautiful natural environment of the Merri Creek, bringing together local communities and highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in urban environments.

#habitatstories
Creative Producer
This was a project I conceived and produced with support from the Queensland Centre for Photography.
From June to September 2015, twenty-seven photography students and recent graduates from the Victorian College of the Arts and the California Institute of the Arts teamed up to deliver a collaborative photomedia project.
Each week, one photographer from each institution worked together on the theme of ‘habitats’. The projects were exhibited in both Australia and the U.S., and published in Lucida Journal.
